Johannesburg Centre

About the Centre

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, excluding December, usually at the Johannesburg Observatory, 18A Gill St, Observatory, Johannesburg, at 19:30. The Centre has two medium sized observatories housing four telescopes, and it also has the use of the 26 inch Innes Telescope in the large dome on the property.

ATM - Amateur Telescope Making classes are held on the premises of Parktown Boys’ High School on most
Saturday afternoons - please enquire from the Centre beforehand.
